Handy Tips & Suggestions

We always remember to add up the major bills, but forget all the little things we have to buy.

1. Look at where most of your cash is spent.

2. Can you reduce this spending?

3. Could you stop some of your subscriptions?

4. Compare your insurances on line and see if you can save money e.g. www.moneysupermarket.com

5. Compare your loans and mortgages interest rates and repayments. www.moneysupermarket.com

6. Compare your utility companies to find a cheaper supplier.

7. Can you reduce some of your personal spending? e.g.. clothes, socialising, gym memberships

8. If you have subscription TV, can you reduce your subscription or even cancel?

9. Ever thought of changing your hairdresser, barber or beautician and trying to reduce the number of appointments?

10. Look at where you shop and only buy what you need. We all waste food each week.

11. Prepare your own lunches; it’s cheaper than buying every day!

12. Look at how you buy your bus or train tickets: it’s cheaper to buy a weekly or monthly ticket. Ask at the station for advice.

13. Use cash instead of your debit card. It actually works, as you only buy what you went into the shop for!

14. If you have looked at everything and it is still worrying you, you can seek advice from your lender, a Financial Adviser, Citizen’s Advice Bureau or even a member of your family or a friend.

Remember you are not alone and it will feel better once you start to face up to any money problems, because the sooner you deal with it the sooner you can make a difference.

We, cannot give you advice but contact us if you have problems paying back any of your lending with us, as we are here to assist and help where we can.
