Nikki Fenton

Chief Executive Officer 

Introduction

As Chief Executive Officer, Nikki serves on the Board of Directors and chairs the Executive Committee. Nikki drives the execution of the long-term strategy supporting the profitable growth of the Bank and supports the Bank’s transformation programme through improving customer-facing systems and internal controls. The needs of our Shareholder and our customers are at the heart of everything we do.

As SMF1, Nikki is accountable to the Board and responsible for the overall management and performance of the Bank. Nikki also provides oversight that the requirements of the regulators are met at all times.

Past experience

Nikki is an experienced Board level finance professional with excellent leadership and communication skills and a wide range of expertise across banking, governance, corporate treasury and audit spanning nearly 30 years.

Before moving into the CEO role at Reliance, Nikki was DCEO & Company Secretary and prior to that, Chief Financial Officer. Nikki was previously Chief Financial Officer at Unity Trust Bank where she worked for over 5 years, transforming a small ethical bank. She has also held roles at Coventry Building Society, InterContinental Hotels Group plc and KPMG. Nikki is a Trustee and Chair of Finance, Audit and Risk Committee at a local secondary school.

  • Chartered Accountant
  • Associate Member of the Corporate Treasurers Association
  • Degree in Mathematics and French.
