Past Experience

Jane brings to the Reliance Bank Board her wide experience of The Salvation Army’s mission and vision. Jane shared territorial leadership for Italy and Greece, then France and Belgium, before being appointed to territorial leadership in the Switzerland, Austria and Hungary Territory. In Switzerland Jane was responsible for a team of 20 and had oversight of significant budgets to deliver Spiritual Life Development, Prison Ministries, and International Development, Modern Slavery and Anti-Human Trafficking. Jane also has experience of start-ups, having overseen the opening of The Salvation Army’s work in Greece in 2007.

Jane speaks fluent French and Italian and has a degree in European Studies, History and French. In November 2021, she was appointed as Secretary for International Ecumenical Relations, where she represents the international Salvation Army in various global ecumenical bodies.
