ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Is my Faith based organisation eligible?
- Charities, including charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) in the UK must be registered with the Charity Commission and have an ACTIVE status. We do not provide facilities for dormant or unregistered charities.
- The Charity must have an identifiable congregation of people who regularly gather for worship or prayer.
- The Charity must operate from a physical location used for worship e.g. Church, Mosque, Temple or Synagogue.
- All trustees/directors and signatories associated with the account must be 18 years old or over and must be a tax resident in the UK.
- Company director (s) must be ACTIVE (not disqualified) on Companies House or Charity Commission.
Industries we cannot support:
We exclude businesses involved in:
- Harm to people, including alcohol, gambling, pornography, tobacco, weapons, conflict minerals, human rights failures and lack of labour rights
- Harm to the planet, including animal testing, factory farming / fisheries, fur and specialty leather, deforestation, fossil fuel energy, genetic engineering, hazardous substances and mining
- Unethical practices, including poor accounting practices, corruption, tax evasion or violation of laws, codes and conventions.
BEFORE YOU START YOUR APPLICATION
Please have the following information ready to ensure a smooth application process:
- Organisation’s details including company/charity registration number and financial information such as annual turnover.
- Your existing UK business current account details.
- Nominated person’s details for both signatories and non-signatories including email address, phone number, residential address
- Transactional information such as details of expected national and international transactions.
